Cyber Carbon Fiber 1.28.21
New Carbon Fiber Golf Gear for Tiger Woods / Carbon Trail Shoes from The North Face / The M5 CS is Here & More
Deja vu - it’s like 2009 all over.
Some unforeseeable consequences of the pandemic:
1) golf is popular again and 2) Gamestop is a hot, high-tech stock.

This really neat Taylor Made Golf video shows PGA Tour Pros, most notably Rory, DJ, and Tiger, constructing their own carbon drivers.
The new SIM2 looks amazing. Also, a forged aluminum frame, not titanium….which is interesting.
An ever further close-up of a PGA Pro competition-fitting is shown in this video:
New M-Series Means New Hype Video
The 2022 BMW M5 CS is 5%, or 200+lbs, lighter than the M5 Competition variant thanks to a large amount of carbon fiber.
A subtle yet fantastic video that honors the original M1.
IA2K - Not NBA2K
The Initial Ascent IA2K is a sportsman dream. Light yet ultra-rigid construction thanks to a carbon frame.
North Face or Gen X Adidas Clone?
The North Face trail running shoe - just over 1/2lb - made possible with a carbon fiber plate means rigidity and responsiveness.
It also looks very similar to any running shoe that Adidas made since 1998.
New Obsession
I just discovered the vlog from pro skier Jon Anders Olsson Delér . He showcases things like his Koenigsegg-approved driveway and his custom carbon speedboat.
Diggable Design
I don’t have a clue what’s going on in this video. Nor do I know who, or what, Vagabund Moto or Autohaus Reiterer are.
I still don’t know what to think about their choice of everyday carry , given their choice of rack mount accessories.
But I love all of it; the locale, production quality, and creepy voiceover.
It’s like the Fight Club of car hype videos.
